MIDDELBURG – In commemoration of Youth Month, the Steve Tshwete Municipality, in collaboration with Blue Ribbon, extended a benevolent gesture to the learners of Phumelela Secondary School on 4 June by donating sanitary towels and lunch packs.
This collaborative initiative aims to promote both personal hygiene and nutritional well-being among learners, ensuring they can pursue their studies with dignity and confidence.
The dignity packs include essential hygiene products, while the lunch packs are thoughtfully prepared with nutritious meals designed to support the learners’ health and academic performance. Municipal officials said this endeavour forms part of a broader commitment to uplifting local youth and improving educational outcomes. Both the Municipality and Blue Ribbon have expressed their intention to continue collaborating on projects that support learners across the region
